Tam Homestay

A great family run guesthouse. The rooms are clean and airy, bed is comfy and it’s nice and quiet. Wi-Fi and hot water work well. It’s close to shops, cafes and restaurants. And has big market and supermarket about 10 minutes walk. I stayed for a month and would def recommend to anyone. Great value and the family are just lovely.

The homestay was very central, within ten minutes’ walk to the Dragon Bridge, Han and Con Markets. It took me 20 minutes to walk to the airport

The sun was intense. Perhaps can put a thicker curtain or window shades on the window. Also, there were roadworks (not the property’s fault of course) so it was tough having to walk on the streets around the area. There’s no lift or elevator but thankfully my room is on the third floor so if you plan to stay here, pack light! There was a power outage for about three hours in the afternoon when I came back to seek refuge from the sun. The property messaged me but I only saw the message after power was restored.

The room was great and the host was very kind and helpful!

The Owner (Or the elderly Gentleman) who checked me in and showed me my room was very friendly and exceptionally helpful!!! The place was kept nice and clean and seemed very secure. Privacy was respected and although close to a very busy road it was incredibly peaceful and felt far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the neighbourhood! It is in quite a busy area, but there are some very good coffee shops and restaurants close by - including 'Power Coffee', I highly recommend this place for its chilled out and youthful vibe and 'Incredible Smoothies' and Coffees! The Homestay has everything you need. Access to a Microwave, a fridge in the room and a lovely 'Hot' shower with great Air-con. A 10 minute walk to the River and Dragon Bridge - which is well worth seeing at 9pm!!!

The location is a bit far from the Beaches and if you try to walk then you will be faced with some very Large and Busy roads to cross, which can be quite tricky, even by Vietnams Standards! Grabs or Taxis will only cost you about 90,000 VND (each way) - about £2.50 - £3.00. A slight smell of damp in my room, but everything else was perfect!

The man whom I always see aroud, he was so caring and warm enough to take care of everything. The location is easy to get around too. If I come back to Da Nang, definitely I would choose Tam Homestay. Thanks so much!

Very kind Tam and his family! He moved my so heavy luggage by himself to my room. And location is so good! Nearby lots of mart, restaurants and something like that. Cleaned room.

Sorry about weak water pressure, and ants when if you put some pieces of food on the floor, you might see the group of them. Some noisy sound when sleeping because window has some space to close I guess.
