Excelent place to start day tours. We used the canoe every day. Tiffany is a great host serving a delicious breakfast which varies every day. Soon we felt like home and had much choices to spend relaxing time in the living room, the decks and the garden. The cosy bed had a very good mattress.

"Beautiful Blue Heron B&B"

10.0

Indoors and outdoors, everything about the Blue Heron B&B is just gorgeous! With easy access to the Boundary Waters, the Blue Heron is the perfect location for canoeing and kayaking. Tiffany and Chad are wonderful hosts, and Tiffany's breakfasts are delicious. Make sure you bring 100% Deet bug spray to ward off the mosquitoes!

"Friendly, comfortable, and terrific!"

10.0

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron and will book here again if we return. Tiffany had helpful recommendations about restaurants, outfitters, and hiking trails. Her breakfasts were outstanding -- not just yummy but beautiful -- and she accommodated some dietary restrictions in our group with ease. (We let her know before we arrived.) The common space was great for hanging out. It was really nice to be able to borrow a canoe or kayak and go out for an hour or so as opposed to renting canoes from someone in town. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a firm mattress and plenty of blankets. We also really enjoyed talking to the other guests at breakfast and around the firepit in the evenings. This is really top notch!
