They had power and heat, at home we did not.

Great Location staff extremely friendly food delicious

I requested a room on the top floor months before my stay and was given a room on the third floor. I had loud neighbors above me, stomping around and out on their balcony until midnight making noise. (the loud inconsiderate neighbors were not the fault of the lodge, but I did request a top floor room for this reason.) There was also gnats and spiders in my bathroom. other than that, everything was extremely clean.

Lovely decor and atmosphere, excellent staff, good food at restaurant, and spacious room.

The bed was very comfortable.

The Heathman Lodge location is about 15 minutes from the Vancouver Waterfront and opposite 15 minutes from the Portland Airport. The lodge rooms are a little older but very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is busy on weekends as the lodge doubles as event space with company Christmas parties and a wedding reception. The attached Hudson’s restaurant is good with happy hour from 4-6 as an obvious local choice. The happy hour drink and food specials are reasonably priced and good enough. The reason for 4/5 is based on the restaurant. It’s good food and drinks but for very similar prices there are better tasting and prepared options on the waterfront. If you are looking for an all inclusive option to not have to leave for a stay and meals Heathman Lodge is a solid choice.

Staff are very friendly, there are a lot of nice details that have been thought of everywhere to make it fun to stay there. Terrific value. Nice restaurant and the folks who work in it go out of their way to make it nice to hang out there. Some reviewers thought the restaurant is a bit expensive but we didn't believe it was (very good happy hour).

Room had a few things that could have used minor repairs/attention.
