Our stay was a disappointment. We did not complain to the host as there was little she could address immediately in what we felt were significant deficiencies. The building is old with mold on the apartment walls. Noise from barking dogs, closing doors, heated arguments etc went on throughout most of the night. Smoking had obviously occurred as it smelled of smoke and ash was present in the front window recesses. The floors were filthy as the bottoms of our slippers made clear. In summary we survived but would never recommend

Location is great, minutes walk to the old town and the train station. Lovely spacious property, good shower. Bonus en suite toilet (but needed some fussing to stop it flushing constantly). They let us check in early (probably to make up for shocking delays in communication up to that point), but the cleaner was trying to enter the property before check out time. Hosts were extremely generous in the provision of coffee pods which is always welcomed.

If you are sensitive to either noise or smells this is not the apartment for you (However my husband was not bothered by either). There was a horrendous chemical smell which we worked out to be a diffuser in the entrance hallway which we immediately had to place outside the apartment for the duration of our stay. Turns out this nasty smell was in fact to disguise the incredibly strong cooking smells that possibly came from the restaurant next door but entirely permeated the apartment every evening. The church bells from the church across the road start up at 6am, but so do the neighbours slamming the front door.... Earplugs will mask but not hide these sounds completely. The host company were very slow to respond to queries in the run up to our stay (we needed clarity whether we had to pay for luggage storage or could drop off the bags and it took from the late afternoon til after 11am the next day to get an answer) but they absolutely pestered us about paying the city tax from the night before we departed. They tried to insist that it be paid in cash too, which contradicted the information posted in the apartment, and Italian law in relation to same. For the price and the amount of space available this apartment really needs a washing machine. Check out is at 10am with substantial additional charges for even one hour later. Oh and the 'damage' deposit of €150 - not exactly the norm with a booking.com property and may be a major inconvenience for travelers on a budget.

This accomodation was super clean and beds were comfortable. Easy check in and great communication. Well designed and styled, loved the window looking out the bedroom. This is in a perfect location, so close to everything needed from restaurants, cafes, to all La Spezia sight seeing has to offer. Short walk to train ride if interested in going to Cinque Terra, Monterosso was the best one we thought. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment and I would most definitely stay here again. Just a side note which has nothing to do with this establishment, no Uber service available and taxis were not available when we arrived. Buses were full as no other transportation service.Travel by train, not bus as it’s a longer walk to accomodation. Thank you for for the wonderful memories our family have made, looking forward to one day coming back.

It’s centrally located. Very close to supermarkets, restaurants and train station.

Nice & convenient spot

Very good location, in the center of La Spezia, very close to the train station and to restaurants. The apartment was clean and has everything you need inside.

Fancy was a good room for the price paid

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this apartment because we visited Cinque Terre. Check in is very easy. The apartment is close to the train station. It had a coffee machine and coffee capsules. The bed was very comfortable. They provide you with towels, and small bottles of shampoo. :)

Check out was at 10 am and we had the only option to go home with the train that was at 4 pm so it would be perfect if you could put check out time later in the day. Also if we would stay for a bit longer, we would love a washing machine for clothes. :)
