The property looked like it was being renovated and would probably be really nice durring the summer months. The carpet in our room was very old and felt dirty on my feet. The room itself smelled of mildew. The ac/heater was loud and kind of scary but we did use it and it kept the room comfortable. The tv was also an older tv which wouldn't be a problem but the picture was fuzzy and made watching it wierd. The mini fridge didn't keep our food very cold either. I think it might have been fixing to go out.

"Great hotel "

Always a great experience. Nice comfortable and clean rooms. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Room was very comfortable. Was so happy they turned the heat on before I arrived. This place is always wonderful and well worth the money.

The room was ground floor as we had requested due to bad knee. The heater was not working on the window unit but the management had provided a standing ceramic electric space heat that was more then enough for the room. I know it will be fix soon. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to San Angelo.

The room smelled terrible - musty & smoky. I went to the office to discuss it and she said it was just the way it was. Said it wasn't a smoking room. She walked away from me. I couldn't ask for a different room, because she left. The carpet was filthy and had smoke burns in it. The heater worked intermittently during the night & I was cold. No extra blanket in the room. The room keys always initiated a blinking red light that took 5-10 minutes to go away. It then took half a dozen more tries to get the door to unlock. The next morning, the young man who took my keys & printed my receipt asked if everything was OK. I said no & asked for a card with the manager's email address. I said I preferred to write to the manager. The young man said the manager won't actually read his email, that he is an owner & therefore doesn't participate in much. What? I asked. The young man said he could relay my concerns. So I said the room smelled terrible & .... He cut me off immediately. Started telling me how they are a budget motel & they usually get contractors/construction workers renting the rooms & ... I interrupted and said he wasn't listening, that he didn't let me finish, that he was making excuses instead of really listening. He huffed & puffed, said angrily, "I'm sorry I brought it up" and he walked away from me. End of severely unpleasant stay, cold & sleepless & dirty night, & being two front desk people's punching bag. I have written to Roadway's corporate offices.
