Gîte - dortoir La Cigale

It's a Motel, 15 min walk from Saxon train station. I stayed in a dorm, nice bed, clean bathroom + shower, supermarkets in town and ine even closer

six black people drived my guest away from the room. My guest can't stay there.

The property was great! The breakfast was lovely and it was extremely friendly. When I arrived early, they took my friend and I bags to our room and were so helpful in calling us a taxi and getting us the cheapest one. Then, after a great breakfast, the manager of the hotel saw I was walking to a bus stop and extremely kindly drove me to the stop himself so I wouldn’t have to walk. The staff were all exceptional and the facilities were great. I would definitely love to come back here!

It was a good location for Saxon and very clean with good facilities in the room.

Once in the room the noise was ok from the road and train. But there were people outside in the courtyard talking loudly at 5am which kept us awake and is rare for Switzerland.

Seems to be recently renovated, very clean and the hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and they were able to serve it rather early, which we appreciated 😊

It's a bit of a hike from the train station

Simple but comfortable to stay for a stop-over during travel. Bed is comfortable, quiet room. Nothing additional besides the room. Don't expect any 'nice' from the location. Fits the price of the room per night in CH. Nearby plenty of nice routes to take by bike/car/motor to go into the mountains which are amazing. Host ist friendly. Good reachable, nearby the high-way or close enough to get to Martigny also by bike.

Very warm room, no airco or ventilator during a hot day. No easy open or accessible restaurant or bar attached to the place.
