Haro Apartments

There are at least two different apartments, so your experience may vary based on which you pick. Pros - The host was an excellent communicator and made check-in easy. The apartment is in a very convenient location for walking to Haro restaurants. The parking lot ($10/day) was a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment - not too far, but not as convenient as being in the same building. The bedroom was quiet from street noise at night (though ear plugs helped), and the bed linens were clean and fresh. The mattress was comfortable.

The apartment is not particularly modern or cozy for the price point. For example, kitchen and bathroom have cold tile floors and harsh, bluish lighting which gives the space a dingy, gray (not-cozy) feel. Changing the lighting and adding some floor rugs would go a long way to improve the space. Also, as others mentioned, the heating and cooling is controlled externally by the host. For a short stay, this was fine, but for a longer stay we would prefer to make our own temperature adjustments.

Excellent apartment with parking in the heart of Haro. The apartment features a spacious kitchen and living area with internet TV. The host is welcoming and friendly and makes himself available at all times. Excellent communication. Haro is a fantastic place to visit, with picturesque squares, scenic walks and wonderful access to nearby villages and wineries. The host has excellent local knowledge regarding the area.
