Airtel Plaza Hotel

The property is old and the exterior is not well maintained. The front desk service was very nice and we got a quick remedy to a TV problem. However, the rooms did not have mini-refrigerators despite cabinet space obviously intended for them, the blinds did not fully close, the location is noisy with jet traffic at adjacent Van Nuys airport, and neither the coffee bar or restaurant opened on Friday night or Saturday morning. Upsides include ease of parking, spacious rooms and friendly staff, as well as many food options within 5-10 minutes. Acceptable and reasonably priced for a short stay.

The rooms were really big and that was so nice. However, the carpets were quite dirty. Overall, it was pretty good, just in real need of some updates-paint, carpet. Very nice staff

I have been staying at this hotel, twice a year for the past 10 years, and now they charge 12 dollars to park your car? And the parking lot has holes and dirt everywhere, not happy about this fee, but i will stay there again, they should rethink this fee for a parking spot

The view of the airport was great as we were aircraft enthusiasts

No fridge in room so unable to cool any drinks down.

WE ACCIDENTALLY LEFT A VERY IMPORTANT ITEM IN THE ROOM AND IT WAS TURNED IN, KEPT SAFE, AND WAS RETURNED TO US WITHIN 3 WEEKS. LONGER THAN EXPECTED BUT VERY APPRECIATED!

The general customer service was the best

The place definitely needs an upgrade. Rug was very dirty, poor amenities, no coffee in room, hot tub was not working, and most of all no secured doors to come into buildings. Anybody can come in and out anytime. Very unsafe. Beds were ok, comfortable. For the price we paid, we expected something better. I would not recommend it. The staff was very friendly, though. No complaints with the staff. It was raining and the ceiling in the lobby was leaking. They had buckets catching the water!!
