Hotel Klenkes am Bahnhof

The location is good. The room has more or less all you need. It was clean. I had a room at the back so no noise from the road and I wasn't cold at all. In fact I slep with the window open in November.

Instructions for checkin were only given because I asked for them by chat. I expect the hotel to give them beforehand in Aachen. Same goes for checkout info. I left the key in the room because I didn't know what else to do and there was no one there as per usual. The room was the smallest I have ever had in Aachen and, believe me, I tried most hotels.

Stairs to apartment quiet steep

Zentrale Lage, das Bett war bequem. Es war sehr ruhig dafür, dass es an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt. Küchenzeile ist wunderbar, um sich morgens einen Kaffee zu machen. Toll wäre es, wenn einige Kaffeepads für die Maschine bereitgestellt würden.😊

The location

Even the “first” floor has a lot of stairs! And the stairs are too narrow, making it almost impossible to go up without causing a mess with your luggage. If you're considering taking a room here, don't bother bringing large luggage! By mistake, I booked a room with a shared bathroom. Despite selecting a room with a private bathroom and single occupancy, it was impossible to change it, even after offering to pay the additional booking fees. Honestly, I don't recommend it, even though the other room was comfortable! Note: the shared bathroom is nasty! Nearby are outstanding hotels for the same price! We changed to another hotel and the price was better!
