Yasuragi

This property is on the luxurious side of traveling in Japan, meaning that the apartment we had was huge and, can easily accommodate more than 4 people, which was fancy and nice. The property offers a shuttle, bringing you to Grand Hirafu Central Gondola as the street where the property is located is at the bottom of the village (walkable distance from the slopes but not pleasant with all the equipment after you). The property has all the amenities to make it comfortable for a long stay.

I will start with the price, I think is quite high but that's the demand I guess. There were some issues in the apartment from overusing (drawers, sofas, beds) that can be easily fixed but I am not sure the agency/owner is interested in doing that.

Great location with a view of Mt. Yoti on a quiet street in lower Hirafu. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay with heated floors! The shuttle to the slops is great!

It cannot be changed, but the second bedroom is very small, you can hardly walk around the bed if the closet door is open. The onsen bathroom makes up for it - it is amazing!. We were supplied with some basics (coffee, tea, sugar) but there was no cooking basics (we only has salt), it would be nice if there was oil, pepper, and a few other items.

Shuttle broke down on 1 day and wasnt relayed to guests without prompting. Also, we made a request to change our private bus to airport on last day to an earlier time. bus came at earlier time but it wasnt communicated to us beforehand that he would be doing do

Amenities for snowboarding were incredible. Massive drying room to stage boards and dry boots. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have attached full baths with huge showers and heated floors. The onsen is incredible - 2 large people can easily fit in it. The water was always warm. The downstairs room (spiral stairs) with its own exit to the main hallway and via the sliding glass door. The kitchen/living room area is perfect for 6 people to relax and spend time together.

The couch was gross looking. It had stains everywhere on it. Recommend getting cushion covers and changing them out each time. The smart tv needs more apps on it to appease everyone’s likes.

This is a very nice property. A few things need to be maintained and checked. The humidifiers were quite gross upon removal of the tanks to refill. I own a humidifier, they require cleaning. I lightly cleaned them myself with warm water, but didn’t want to use our only abrasive sponge. The onsen right sliding door was left slightly open, I pushed it shut on our 2nd day only to realize on our 3rd day that it made the problem worse on the left door. I had to fully open the left door and use the broom to get the ice out of the bottom sill so the door would fully shut. This was not a fun or easy task in the cold air. Additionally, although some English is on the Washer/Dryer and we tried using google translate, we had a lot of difficulty in settings; and could not get the “dryer” to unlock without letting it sit off for about 10 minutes leaving clothes wrinkled.
