Los Muertos Hostal

Sadly, I got bedbug bites at just a few hours of me lying down on the bed. I was not able to sleep comfortably knowing that I will get more bites. The staff were amazing; they were friendly. I hope those bugs are gone by now!

The hostel is on the beach and very close to all bars and eating places. Clean comfortable and friendly people

It can get quite hot during the day as fans are very old and alow

Good style and convenient location. Outlets, a shelf and a light in each bed.

There’s a club across the street that was very loud Friday night. The water faucets for the sinks and showers are comically industrial. They need to install real ones. The bed mattress was too stiff and I generally like stiff mattresses. The common areas aren’t all that pleasant to hang out in. They are too narrow and lack comfortable seating. Generally speaking, the surrounding neighborhood is flooded with American retirees and the restaurants cater to their lost sense of taste and overburdened bank accounts; I paid U.S. prices for several food items that barely had any flavor. I ended up traveling about a mile NE to find legit food. I also was offered drugs about every thirty seconds while walking near the hostel. They aren’t intimidating men, but they’re really annoying.

I had an amazing experience at Los Muertos Hostal! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Plus, it’s the most budget-friendly option in the area.

I have nothing to complain about. If I ever get the chance to visit Puerto Vallarta alone again, this would undoubtedly be my top choice. The atmosphere, the hospitality, and the overall experience make it an unforgettable destination.
