Ocean View Westerly

The Ocean View is a great little motel right across from the beach. The first thing you notice is how clean the rooms are. The rooms are very basic but will meet all your needs. While there is no coffee maker, in the morning, there is fresh coffee across the street outside the office. Everyone of the staff with whom I came in contact with was helpful and friendly. I love Misquamicut and the Ocean View was perfect for my mini vacation to my favorite beach town.

Just cross the street and you are at the ocean. Great location, friendly people at the front desk.

Ad stated “ocean view from room” . No ocean view. The bathroom floor and table were sticky slimy. The fridge so tiny could hardly get much in it. Wifi wouldnt work. Only 1 room key was difficult to manage. Ad misleading in that it mentioned a “family room” in addition to bedroom. Family room actually meant a bed in it. A small couch or even a nice soft chair would be nice. Only place to sit was table chair. Only an overhead light for that bed. No lamp or switch close to the bed. No place to hang up a towel in the bathroom.. or put your clothes or toiletries.

Customer service was terrible do not book

Large room with one tiny window. Tiny bathroom. The property owners should stay in the rooms once in a while and see if they like the accomodations.

It was just what we were looking for not too far from ocean,the room was very big and spacious!! Right in the middle of all restaurants, pubs and amenities!!! Great time!!

I booked to stay here, but my reservation got move to a place that was on the beach called sandcastles motel. No interior lights except for bathroom. Two outlets 1 for a/c and tv, other for dorm size fridge. Parking was a joke, people parked everywhere. The area is fantastic, this motel was not. Sandcastles disappointed. Maybe next time Ican get what I booked.

We loved how the ocean/beach was right across the street and it was in walking distance to a lot of places to eat

Friendly helpful staff

The staff was friendly and helpful. Located right across from the beach. Hotel had their own private access which was nice. Located near several gift shops and restaurants. The rooms could use some updating but they were clean. Also could’ve used heavier blankets since it was all AC and only one small window, which wouldn’t have provided enough air/breeze, so the AC was a must. The rooms lacked coffee pots, which was disheartening because we were all early risers and had to wait for local places to open to get coffee. All in all, a decent place to crash if your in Misquamicut to hit the beach.
