Ester`s Place

My stay at Ester's Place was just great! The host was VERY friendly and accommodating. I picked the location because of its proximity to CIMA where I was scheduled to have some dental work. The medical complex is a short, enjoyable walk through a nice, safe neighborhood, which allowed me to save on parking fees. My room was spacious, secure, and comfortable, with everything I needed, and Ester was only a text message away if I had any questions. I will definitely stay here again!!

I stay in San Jose lots traveling through, and this is the first time I have stayed at Ester's place. The place was a breath of fresh air from what I am used to. The staff, which is a husband and wife, and a delightful maid were extraordinary friendly and helpful during check-in/ out. The property is in a super safe and nice area of Escazu. The facility itself is very nice with a community kitchen that is well stocked with things that you can use. The room itself was huge, way larger than a hotel room, and had a nice balcony. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in San Jose for shopping or heading to or from the airport.

Absolutely nothing, I couldn't have better things to say about this place.

Ester was a great host, she did the extra effort to accommodate our late night arrival, the rooms were clean and the house was very comfortable. I would strongly recommend Ester's place.

Conveniently close to Escazu shopping, extremely nice and safe neighborhood,

clean and safe neighborhood. working distance to the mall and restaurant. easy to communicate with host staff. large room space with large closet.

location is the only good thing about this place.

this is not a hotel nor an airbnb- it is a guest house; it should not be listed in Booking.com! Nobody would really explain anything. had to keep asking for basic things such as internet password, cups to drink water... noise from the room upstairs did not let me sleep. Matress was awful. At least one of the pillow cases wasn't clean.
