Higashiyama Tomarigi

The location was perfect, close to attractions and also bus routes. The host had Left flowers, coffee, tea. It was perfect and immaculately clean. We were a group of 5 people and it would have been excellent with 6 people.

The sensor lights are very good, but bedroom 3 had a glass panel in the door and this made it difficult to sleep

The owner had gone to a lot of trouble leaving tourist info ….close to a bus stop Space for us all to sit in comfort

Location close to Higashi Chaya and 6 minutes to train. A real Japanese family home. It has everything you need and the owner provides wonderful information about cultural aspects of the house that I really enjoyed, and local maps and bus information. So helpful. Loop bus stops very nearby.

It’s older than it looks in the photos, it is cold in February and hard to heat even though there are heat pumps in most rooms. It is a little noisy- expected given it is on a main road. Yet it is a really functional Japanese family home.

Good location

Needed a thorough clean and the air con filters and drains were blocked. No hot water in the sink

I loved this place, it was great to have the whole place plenty of space, large kitchen and bar area everything u would need to cook and washer, TV. etc.... home away from home.

On main road so light sleepers could have an issue.
