Pension Kristian

Me & my grandma really enjoyed our stay. Had breakfast & 3 nights. The owners really went beyond to take care of us, recommended places to eat and visit. I have high standards for a bathroom and mattresses on a bed, both was top, slept like a baby! Definitely would go back.

Pension Kristian is definitely a gem in Cesky Krumlov! Situated right in the center (beware you cannot drive up to the place with your own car, the car park (P1) is about 5 minutes walk across cobble stones, so consider what you all want to carry along!). The location in a quiet side street makes it an ideal place for seeing the town. The owners will give you all the hints where to go, what to do and where to eat - all tips were very helpful! It is this overwhelming friendliness that makes the stay so pleasant, as it is - even for the first time visitor - like coming to friends. The renovation of the old house is perfectly done with a lot of attention to details. The interior is best standard, the photos on the web page are showing what is there. So, why do I not rate it with 5 points (excellent)? 3 reasons: 1) My small room under the roof (castle view through a window in the attic) had no chair or table (other than the bedside tables), so you can only sit on the bed, there is no place to put down your cloths (other than in the wardrobe). It was for me - being alone - no big issue, but in double occupancy this would be a burden! (I believe the rooms further down are a bit bigger, so check that out before booking!) I had to search for a free power outlet for my phone charger (and found one under the bedside table...) 2) There is no daily room cleaning unless you ask for it. (Eva told me that their guest usually don't want this for privacy reasons - ?? - but offered immediately to do the room for me herself when I met her late afternoon (which I then declined - no issue on a two night stay! ) 3) Given 1) and 2) above I found the price to be really on the high side: (August 2020: 130.- Euro/night w/o breakfast) Having said this, I'd like to one more time express a big praise to Eva and Kristian for what they have put in place and the way they run it! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Eva and Kristian, the owners, are really helpful and kind. They couldn't do enough for you. So friendly! Breakfast was very fresh made to order and yummy. Clean and cozy room. Close to everything in the city. Quiet place. Perfect terrace overlooking a romantic alley. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Very cozy pension in a quiet and calm street, 100 metres from the main attractions. The owners Eva and Kristian are lovely and very helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean, big and beatifuly decorated, bed is super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to Cesky Krumlov, we will book with them again. 100% recommendable.

젊은 부부가 운영하는 펜션입니다. 매우 친절하고 숙소는 매우 넓고 깨끗합니다. 커피와 티는 언제든 부엌에서 마실 수 있습니다. 퇴실시 버스정류장까지 픽업도 해주셨습니다. 크리스마스 시즌이라서 직접 만든 쿠키도 맛 볼 수 있었습니다. 다시 체스키크롬로프에 온다면 꼭 이곳에서 묵을 것입니다.

Room is neat, clean, modern and spacious. Most importantly the pension operator is very very nice and helpful! Highly recommended!

We stayed 3 wonderful days and nights in this wonderfully renovated pension. We absolutely fell in love with Kristian and Eva our hosts. It is so nicely located to everything. They were very accommodating and the sweetest ever. We feel like we have new friends forever. We hope you choose this and support their pension. Great suggestions for meals and places to go.
