It was a quiet resort and the common space seemed nice. Also there was a friendly cat on site.

The rooms looked like sadly finished dorm rooms, with nothing more than a mattress and desk. Also the pillows were flat and stiff and they wanted 200 baht to get an additional one. The check in was fine, same with check out but when we tried to get food for breakfast we were told 40 mins before we even asked a question. Overall it just wasn't worth the stay and I wouldnt ever recommend it to someone else.

Wir haben das Meet Boutique Resort in Surat Thani für einen Zwischenstopp genutzt. Das Zimmer selbst hatte gute Ansätze: Die chillige Musik zur Begrüßung, ein bequemes Bett und ein Fernseher mit funktionierenden Streaming-Diensten waren top. Auch die Terrasse am Zimmer ist eine gute Idee.

Das restliche Ambiente war jedoch enttäuschend und für den Preis nicht akzeptabel. Die Anlage wirkt wie ein Glamping-Versuch ohne Stil. Besonders die Sonnenschirme im Außenbereich waren in einem ekelhaften, ungepflegten Zustand. Dass dann auch noch 3 % Gebühr für Kreditkartenzahlung verlangt wurden, passte zum insgesamt eher schwachen Service-Eindruck.

Food was good (fries and chicken bites) but then issues with breakfast

Lots of things that added up for a brief stay...rooms are run down, no character. Friends asked for an extra pillow and needed to pay. Went to the restaurant for breakfast and was told it would be 40min for granola bowl despite an empty restaurant. Check in and out required finding someone as the desk wasn't manned. No shelf in shower to hold things. Kettle for coffee resulted in water tasting like hot dog water despite using bottled water and cord didn't reach the outlet so had to flip over a metal box onto of fridge to heat up water. No handcsoap and no shower bottles to use in sink thats outside shower.
