Berggasthof Höchsten

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they upgraded us to a better room for free. The food was amazing also. We booked one of the two gondolas there for a nice romantic dinner, which turned out to be a beautiful special experience. The breakfast-buffet was also very rich.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und alle sind sehr nett. Frühstück ist Top! Mein Zimmer wahr ein bisschen klein, aber es hat gereicht für mich allein. Und geschlafen habe ich sehr gut und die Betten sind sehr bequem.

Wir waren beim Wandern, danach Sauna und schließlich Abendessen. Sehr lecker, herrlicher Blick.

Since we were there the last time 8 years ago, it feels like the staff in kitchen changed and the quality went down a bit

Scenic hilltop location with expansive views of the Bodensee and surrounding lush areas. Hotel is efficient and comfortable, with an outstanding restaurant catering to all your needs. Very kid friendly with lively family atmosphere that made us at home (traveled with teens). Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were outstanding with the owner passing buy to check on everything and share a laugh with guests. Lovely local products for sale in the lobby store.

The location is all off on its own. If you're looking for convenience to other locations you should look elsewhere. If you want a nice break on your trip to enjoy scenery and genuine local food and produce, this is a great stop.

Schöner Berggasthof mit toller Aussicht

very big rooms and very clean. Sauna is small but enough. Good breakfast and nice quiet location. The waiters are very kind and even brought dinner in the room.

sauna closes at 19:00.
