The Reid Hall

The size of the rooms. Not often I can “spread” out in a room, and still have space.

Couldn’t find a fault!

I was very comfortable & the bathroom was beautiful & I loved the shower. There was a hairdryer, iron & lovely toiletries. Lyn was very warm & friendly.

I didn't like the heating system which was a big air conditioner which was noisy. I would have liked the normal heater but it didn't work.

Beautiful setting, and I love the feeling of staying in an old stone, historical building. The hosts are very nice, facilities were clean and beds were soft. I LOVED the mattress warmers on the beds. Adam cooked me a really nice breakfast every morning, and offered plenty of good choices. Lin responded promptly to my questions before check in. I loved it there, and wish I had more time to spend in the Orkneys. Next time…

The fact that I had to leave.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had access to a comfortable lounge, well-stocked with local information, books and dvds etc. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order. Lynn and Adam were exceptionally kind and thoughtful hosts, going out of their way to assist us in travelling about the island. Reid Hall is an excellent place from which to explore Westray; highly recommended.

Wonderful! The room and bathroom were very spacious. Breakfast was delicious, especially the smoked salmon.

Lovely accommodation. Heating on to keep us comfortable in cooler Orkney temperatures. Tasty breakfast. Very friendly hosts who were able to give us all the information we needed to find our way around and begin to appreciate the island way of life. We had an unforgettable holiday and would have loved to stay for longer.
