The location was good, and the roof terrace was really nice.

The room we originally checked into was so small. The toilet was directly beside the bed, and there was only one sliding door, which could close over either the shower or the toilet, both of which were directly beside the bed with a glass door. We had to choose between hiding the shower (which we'd just used before bed) or the toilet. Naturally, we closed the door over the shower overnight, but as a result, I woke up to a toilet about a metre away from me. While I'm sure a toilet beside the bed behind a glass door would work fine if the room had one person staying on their own, let's be realistic and say that no couple needs that in their hotel room. In that room, the one door for the toilet/shower area also does not have a handle on the shower side inside, which means if you're alone in the room and close the door fully and take a shower, it's almost impossible to get the door open again. Very poorly designed. We asked the next morning if we could move rooms, and luckily, they had a slightly bigger one available. While that new room had a separate toilet and shower, which were not directly beside the bed and therefore were more private, the shower water leaked out, the floor was wet, and the room had a musty, damp smell. The air conditioning turned itself on and off in a constant cycle, which meant the room became very, very warm and deafeningly quiet and then suddenly the air conditioning kicked in again and was very loud. This happened all night and woke us up every night we stayed here (we were here for 5 nights). I said this to the guy at the front desk, and he assured me it was working perfectly. The staff at breakfast were very slow to ask for an order for the very limited warm breakfast option, so I often sat there for ages waiting for someone to come to my table. Overall, this hotel is very, very overpriced and I would not recommend it.
