Villa Zelma

Villa Zelma is located in a rural area of Tuscany. Quiet, peaceful and comes with a swimming pool. The staff are all guests first at all times. We stayed 8 days and wanted more. Great breakfasts, lunches and dinners prepared by chefs who take pride in their craft. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Nice bathroom, bed and sitting area.

They had a party function that lasted until 11pm; it would have been nice if they had warned us (we wouldn’t have changed our plans, it just would’ve been nice to know).

Lovely villa in a beautiful location. They offered gluten free meals with vegetarian options.

It was challenging to get to in our 7m campervan.

The food was amazing! Definitely worth trying! The views are stunning. People at the villa were very nice. I recommend it and will definitely visit it again.

We typically stay at name-brand hotels but we wanted to experience something different this time. The Villa exceeded our expectations! What a charming place to stay. The property is situated among the rolling hills of Tuscany, approximately 1 hour from Bologna Airport. The view is simply breathtaking. I believe we visited during the off season, so we were the only guests for the first three days. Even though we were the only guests, the chef cooked splendid breakfast for us every morning. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a supermarket 5 minutes from the Villa which was convenient too. For sightseeing, it is about 1 hour to Florence, 1 hour to Pisa, and 1.5 hours to Bologna. We parked at public parking and took bus/light rail from those locations to avoid city traffic.

A beautiful location, the villa was simply gorgeous and wonderful to wake up to the stunning nature surrounding it. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer! Due to an emergency trip to the hospital in Florence, we arrived late and didn’t get to enjoy the dinner and breakfast, although I can tell you the breakfast smelt amazing as we were leaving. I highly recommend this Villa, the staff are kind and attentive.
