Casa do Muro

Very nice, spacious apartment (in real even better than on the pictures) with a wonderful terrace and garden with orange and citrus trees. Very quiet at night. Our host Anabela welcomed us friendly, she provided us with milk, juice and rusks. To get to the apartment, you have to climb several stairs, so you need to be able to walk well, but that's generally necessary in Coimbra.

The house was very comfortable and had all we needed.Situated in a good location close to the centre

Das war die schönste Unterkunft in unserer Portugal-Reise, morgens Orangensaft von den frisch gepflückten Orangen aus dem Garten, nachmittags nach dem Ausflug toll zum Loungen. Die Parkmöglichkeit ist angespannt, hat aber irgendwie immer gut geklappt einen Parkplatz zu bekommen. Alles sehr sauber und funktional eingerichtet mit vielen bequemen Gartenmöbeln.

The location was convenient and close to most Coimbra attractions and to grocery stores, in a charming hilly part of town. The room was large enough to fit a small breakfast table and extra convertable single bed. Our host was attentive. Wifi worked well. There was a small patio where we could hang our wash and a pretty, shaded area as well. The host provided plenty of glassware and other equipment.

The location is convenient but rather noisy with partying outside (not at the site), cars and barking dogs. Windows don’t isolate the street noise.

Lovely little apartment on the edge of Coimbra centre. Nice outside space for two people. Well located and comfortable, everything walkable and Coimbra is lovely. Would stay there again, everything went well, well appointed kitchen and shower was good. Host Anabela was gracious and helpful. Recommend the local restaurant O Patio!

We stayed in the smaller of the two apartments and it was petite. Not too small but there wasn’t a lot of extra space.

Great location, the apartment is big and have a lovely garden. The kitchen is very convenient to use.

יש צורך בתחזוקה יותר מוקפדת - האוורור בשירותים לא עבד ויש שם ריח לא נעים, מרצפת לא מחוזקת היטב במרפסת.

The landlady was super nice and helpful. Having the small garden (only two room apartment) is a special benefit, especially on hotter days or in enjoying the mornings and evenings. The location was outside the city center, therefore really quiet, still the city center was in reach with a 5-10 min walk.

The kitchen could be equipped a bit better or more plentiful. Nevertheless we had the basic equipment and were able to cook everything we wanted. BTW balsamic vinegar and a lot of herbs/ spices are already in the kitchen.
