Hotel Makaabá Eco-Boutique

La ubicación del hotel me pareció buena. Las zonas para relajarse en la terraza están agradables, hay una amaca y sillones.

En mi habitación no funcionaba bien el aire acondicionado. Lo reporté, pero no dieron respuesta durante mi estancia. Espero que si lo hayan revisado cuando salí.

La chaleur dans la lit (qui se trouve en haut dans la partie la plus chaude de la pièce)

El desayuno y la ubicación está increíble!! El desayuno también viene incluido!! El hotel es hermoso!! Tiene dos piscinas y una zona de clavados de 3m!! Lo mejor es que a una cuadra está la laguna y a dos el centro!!

Enfrente de la laguna Bacalar y a unas cuadras el centro y el fuerte. También el desayuno está bien.

Al llegar, todo bien porque solicitamos el servicio de traslado del Tren Maya al hotel obviamente con costo. Después la atención del personal muy X, no hubo nadie para apoyarnos con el equipaje al realizar el check-out, la regadera del baño fatal, no salía casi nada de agua, muy poca presión. En el desayuno, me sirvieron en una taza sucia, tenía la línea de café cuando lo tomas ya seca. Los vasos olían feo, dejan mucho que desear en la atención. Solicitamos una plancha y no servía, quedaron en cambiarla y nunca llegó y no nos dieron ninguna explicación ni nos avisaron. Lastima, porque el hotel en si vale la pena, su diseño, ubicación y concepto. No se si solo atienden bien cuando eres extranjero. Solo un chico nos atendió en la alberca y se daba sus vueltas y al día siguiente en el restaurante estaba en la barra y nos hizo platica. Pero si deja mucho que decir la atención del personal.

Highly recommend this hotel! We had outstanding service, and loved the beautiful facilities with a stunning pool and lounge areas. We got a really good price (not sure if because it's low season/May or because they was still construction for new accommodation) but felt it was great value at a price similar to a private room in a hostel. The restaurant Waah is delicious, you get free breaky here which is really lovely. You can choose one dish including modern Mexican options, or classic western brunch options like eggs and avocado toast, with twists like local vegetables and herbs. The coffee was delicious, you can choose either coffee or tea. We also ate here for dinner one night and got free dessert. The pool is great to lounge by all day, with separate pool areas downstairs and upstairs to relax in. The water was very clean, we saw them testing the water regularly. Looks better than the pictures. Our room was nicely set up, with a huge king bed. Room was clean with good A/C. Free water accessible in the common areas The lagoon in accessible by the public port 1 minute walk away so it's a great location. The staff were very accommodating, especially adrien who organised an earlier breakfast for us as we had to catch an early bus. They also surprised us with a packed a lunch. Only one receptionist was a bit rude/unfriendly when we checked in.

The only negatives that the activities and bar are quite expensive so we didn't use any of those facilities such as kayak rental or massages as it's cheaper to go elsewhere. It also seemed like they are doing construction so we did hear a lot of construction noises during our stay. No fridge or kettle. The room we were in also had no door to the bathroom which isn't the best. Not sure if all have these.
