IEClean, well organised accommodation with spectacular views, really friendly and helpful hosts. Very relaxing, gorgeous village with plenty of places to explore. A lovely friendly welcome with an invitation to a delicious bbq the first night. The pool was very cooling with amazing views.

GBWe stayed at "Perla," the smaller of the villas. This is one of the cases in which small does not mean bad. The apartment is very well thought out, with everything one needs. The hosts, Paolo and Catia, are very exquisite people and were very helpful in solving our requests.
IELe Rocche is very comfortable and well-equipped, and the view over the valley is sheer poetry! Paolo met us at the station. He was a fount of knowledge about everything in the locality, and he and Catia were attentive to all our needs. My family and I had a wonderful experience over the three days. For a longer stay I would recommend coming by car.

ILWe had a wonderful time at le rocche. The place was clean, with all the utilites we needed. The view was stunning, and the place was quiet. Paulo, our host, was a wonderful host. Really nice and helpful, made us feel welcome and at home. He also gave us great recommandations for places to see and visit.

USThe owner, Paolo, was enormously helpful and provided a bottle of wine upon our arrival (even though we were later than normal). He checked in several times to make sure all was well. While there are quite a few steps to climb to get to one of Paolo's residences, once there, the view is quite the reward! Oh my goodness, the beautiful view of the valley, surrounding hills and distant mountain ranges is absolutely outstanding!! Ferentillo is a quiet little village of about three thousand people but has all the conveniences one might need, including several excellent restaurants and a handy grocery store. It's also an easy drive to many wonderful areas. The mountain top town of Montefranco is only about fifteen minutes away and you're within 30 minutes of Terni. Also close by is the Cascata delle Marmore, well worth a trip during the twice daily water falls. Viterbo, an ancient Etruscan city and UNESCO World Heritage village is approximately one hour away and well worth the visit! Also in the same area is the Terme dei Papi (natural hot springs) and extremely relaxing! We were only there for six days but could have stayed two weeks and not seen everything! My only regret was that I did not spend enough time enjoying the wonderous view from the Le Rocche Valnerina Residence with a bottle of wine!!
