Magellans Hotel

The location is beautiful. It is situated on top of the hill overlooking False Bay. The family room was perfect for us, a group of 3 adults, as it had 2 large double beds. The English breakfast was lovely, perfect portion size, and the option of fruit and yoghurt as well.

There was nothing majorly wrong with the property but you could see it was a little run down. Nothing that a good refresh wouldn’t sort. Also, there was no clear instruction on how to check out. I eventually tracked someone down to whom I handed the keys back

Das Hotel ist schön, die Zimmer komfortabel, soweit ich sehen konnte. Aber das Hotel liegt oben am Berg, zum Strand ist es zu weit zum laufen, besonders der Rückweg. Da ich das Auto gerne stehen lasse, wenn ich angekommen bin, kam ich mit der Lage nicht zurecht und habe vor Ort storniert. Die Stornierung wurde sehr kulant gehandhabt, vielen Dank dafür.

Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück war gut.

Das Zimmer war kalt im Vergleich zur Außentemperatur und konnte nicht geändert werden.

Beautiful rooms with matching bathroom. The most comfy bed ever. The dining area is gorgeous with a sea view and a open balcony.

The views are stunning, the bed was very compfortable. The tv in the room was amazing and the breakfast omelette was first class.

When we arrived the room at 14:00 pm it was not ready. There were no towels and cleaning supplies where still in the room. And once they were finished with the room items were left out of place. The bath tubs seal dud not work so the water drained quickly, showered instead. For breakfast we had to ask for assistince, no pastries left. The service from the staff was not what you would expect from such a lovely place.

Everything from check in to checkout, wow the staff and owner was amazing, the room was perfect, fhe breakfast was fantastic. I would give it a 20 out 10 rate, will return very soon 🤗

Riesiges Zimmer. Liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Balkon mit Meerblick, gutes Frühstück. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für den Preis hätte man nicht mehr bekommen können. Einfach perfekt für die Erkundung der Kap Halbinsel Wir kommen gerne wieder
