MINKA Riverside Villas

Well designed tiny house. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and lovely location on a canal and short walk to a couple of coffee shops. We were met by Matsuha who was charming and really helpful. She booked a restaurant for our dinner and had some great recommendations for the area. Parking was easy and very close by.

Ambient and cosy athmosphere. Fully equipped rooms and kitchen. Also a good variety of free tea, coffee and sweets. A plenty of places to meditate or read. Very good and pleasant host.

2人用の「カモメ」に一泊しました。出発までにもメールのやりとりができ，安心して宿泊できました。 運河沿いにひとまわり散策するのもちょうどよい広さ・距離感で，漁師町の雰囲気をゆったり味わうことができました。残念だったのが，最寄りの銭湯が閉業してしまったとのこと。ま，内風呂もきれいでよかったのですが。 「チェックアウトの手続きが何もない」システムが初めてでした。その分，チェックイン時に，町の情報をたくさんいただき，ゆっくりと楽しめました。ありがとうございました。

Comfortable ., location and cleanliness

It was a beautiful Japanese townhouse with a fresh modern design. It’s right by the canal with a lovely view in a very tranquil setting. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The house is a renovated old Japanese house and for some reason the designer chose to make the door ways for midgets, unnecessarily. Low beams in old houses is understandable, but weirdly low entrance ways is not.

clean and nice. and the location is within a peaceful and scenic area.

nothing to complain about the property. But sadly as it’s just a small town all the restaurant and attractions closes very early.

Loved that this house kept its traditional charm and character while being modernized. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook breakfast in and sit a look at the river while enjoying it.
