Good location and clean. Many of the staff are really friendly and accommodating. Easy parking. Good sized bathroom.

Unfortunately our room at the back of the building was adjacent to the kitchen roof and the extractor fan which, when on, was really noisy. Food was okay, but not the standard of 2 AA rosettes, even though that’s what the Hotel advertised during our stay. Oddly, it’s not listed by AA at all, so it makes me wonder if they were promoting an out-of-date status.

Great location for the Cheddar Gorge, Good quality cooked breakfast , friendly staff and reasonable value for money!

Bedrooms were little dated and could benefit from some TLC!

Really nice room, with a few nibbles thrown in with the tea/coffee pack. Sunday evening roast was excellent as was the breakfast. Cheddar is not a particularly nice town but the hotel was in a quiet non-tourist area. Free car parking was appreciated.
