Berg Cottage

This is a beautifully maintained old house with a history. The rooms were all comfortable, and despite being midwinter, they were cosy and comfortable. There was a big garden, which was perfect for the children and it was pet friendly, which was a bonus. I love the location too, although the town centre has become a tourist trap, there are easy and accessible walks in the mountains close to the house.

Keybox too small. Lock on back door very difficult to use. Toilet seat loose. No heaters in bathrooms.

It was self catering and the there was a stove with oven and braai facilities

We were very satisfied. It was spacious and well equipped with 2 lounges and a spacious dining area with good crockery and utensils. We also had ample heating and enjoyed the heated blankets. We were also 10 mins from the town centre and a forest walk.

The house was comforable and very nice. It was very cold, but the electric blankets helped a lot. House was neat and clean.

The security! There is not efficient lights outside. They broke into our vehicle and tried to steal it. Although there is a gate with a lock, it did not help much as the perpetrators just jumped over.
