Bravissimo Sant Pau, cozy apartment in the centre

Great location and spacious apartment

J'ai adoré cet établissement. Nous sommes venus de Paris pour un road trip en andalousie de 3 semaines et avons décidé de passer 3-4 jours à Gerone pour découvrir la ville, randonner dans les volcans du parc naturel de la garrotxa et nous baigner à Cadaques. L'appartement est extrêmement bien situé. À la liziere du centre ville piéton, à 4min à pieds de la cathédrale et aussi proche de 2 grands parking gratuits accessibles à pieds qui permettent de sortir de la ville en 5min. Il y a un grand supermarché mercadona à 600m. L'appartement était super propre et bien équipé. J'ai apprécié recevoir un kit avec sac poubelles, liquide vaisselle, dosettes lave linge et lave vaisselle. Les correspondants ont été très accueillants. Petite astuce : nous avons dû récupérer les clés à l'agence au centre ville (4min à pieds) : je ne vous conseille pas d'y aller en voiture.

Les moustiques mais ça c'est pas de leur faute ....

This appartment is ideally located for the old town, including cafes etc. having stayed with Bravissimo previously, the communication and generally condition of the appartment is always great. Very spacious and and all the facilities required. Although being on the edge of the old town, the appartment is very quiet and walking distance to all areas of Girona.

The bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable, with bedding that didnt seem to fit correctly. I think an upgrade to the bed would be huge advantage, and make this apprtment perfect. This is more of a recommendation than a complaint though.

The location just outside Barri Vell meant that everything was close by but we had more light and space than an old town flat. It also meant that there was very little street noise compared to a lot of other places we have stayed. The flat was compact but with two of us had enough space for us to work remote for a few days of our stay and keep our bikes out of our way. The shower was very good and mattresses comfy. We appreciated having a small cleaning kit for washing up etc so we didn't need to buy those things. The flat is next to the train line but the trains are infrequent and the bedrooms are on the opposite side so we didn't notice the noise from that.

The bed covers were very thin and the pillows insufficient. The sofa was not comfortable either, it's showing it's age a little.

The location is excellent. 5-10 mins to all the places. I do not think it's possible to stay closer, get free street parking to the old city. The check-in and check-out process was also smooth.

Taking out the trash. I would be happy to throw it away in a bigger trash in the building, but to find the garbage place in the street and to throw them there every day or every few days is a real hassle and should be made easy for guests (since we are essentially guests!)

Apartment had everything that you needed (including a dishwasher & washing machine) and is located centrally on the edge of the old town. We were greeted by a friendly host!

The only con is that there is a train line is close by
