Lovely apartment, clean, comfy and roomy. Very comfortable bed! Very quiet location, couldn't hear the airport at all! Great location for travelling north.

it was a shame that for such a lovely place, the bed was way too small and very uncomfortable. Given the size of the room, there is no reason for the bed to have been so small. I would encourage the hosts to try sleeping in that bed with two people. I actually had to sleep on the floor for 2 out of the 3 nights because the first night I hardly slept at all. Other than that, the place was really great. Sorry but I think it’s worth being honest.

Fantastic conversion of an old building into a modern and comfortable stay for travellers needing quick access to the nearby airport and close to the city to visit. The host met us on arrival and made sure we had all the information we needed for an early checkout that morning to catch a flight. Very helpful and much appreciated

Hemples Lodge is an absolutely magical place! Beautiful both inside and out. Mark was also an absolutely wonderful host! Very communicative and extremely accommodating to our late check-in. The breakfast was also superb! I cannot recommend enough. Wish we could have stayed longer!

There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect!

The property was located in a quiet picturesque setting, greeted and supported very professionally by the owner. A very spacious, well appointed property. Fantastic location a mere 5 minute drive to Newcastle airport, yet off the flight path so slept perfectly.

Large and spacious. Excellent finish particularly the bathroom. Great facilities including Xbox, coffee maker and Bluetooth speaker. Breakfast supplied to the door precisely at arranged time each morning and was delicious

Not that "we didnt like". Just a small suggestion really, It would be nice for some cushions on the sofa and additional / different bed pillow choices (though this could be down to personal preference)
