Spacious room and bathroom. Attentive and helpful staff for our needs. Good English. Breakfast included in price. Peaceful setting.

Position of shower a little awkward but worked out ok.

Quiet place.

They have advertised that tea/coffee making facility and electric kettle available. But it was not there. Anyway they provided us hot water, so we could manage. The chair in the room was not clean. Also Iron was also not there.

Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly.

We loved the quiet location of this affordable riverside villa, among the rice paddies. Only a few minutes stroll to a main road with lots of tuktuks and buses to take us to major sights, restaurants and shopping. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds, on demand hot water, satellite tv, good wifi and electric kettle. Delightful owner Hashan prepared delicious low sodium breakfasts and dinners for us at a reasonable cost. He was exceptionally helpful in meeting all our needs, including laundry, cell phone repair, transfers, a tour of the ancient city, and a trip to view wildlife in the national park. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel next to a water creek, a very relaxed atmosphere, kind and attentive host and personnel, delicious meals, comfy bed, hot water, AC worked perfectly, decent WiFi. It was 10 minutes by tuk-tuk to the city center and the Ancient City. Hasan was always checking if everything was okay, his wife and Hasan himself cooked delicious meals for me. Also, Hasan told me what to visit in the Ancient City, and arranged a safari and a day-trip to Polonnaruwa for me, which was very convenient.

The WiFi was a little slow at some moments, still I could do my work.
