Anchor Inn

Great location to explore the areas near the center points. Staff was very friendly and attentive and room was very clean! Great breakfast options to get the day rolling!

The Inn is very quaint & cozy.

No elevator so you have to carry luggage/bags up one or two flights depending on where your room is located.

Nantucket is a quaint location. Visiting among old historic houses and cobblestone streets is our reason we enjoy the island. The Anchor Inn is a great location for easy walking around the village. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The Anchor Inn is very old but the recent updates have all the conveniences. We thoroughly enjoyed our host who always provided a delicious help yourself breakfast and snack bar.

The old stairs could be a problem for some folks. Like many old homes it seems The Anchor Inn would not meet ADA guidelines.

The location is great

We’ve stayed here a couple of years ago, but were so disappointed this most recent stay by the new ownership/management. The staff seems to be poorly treated as they were so mean and cold to guests. Wifi did not work at all. “Breakfast” offered is really an overstatement (a few pieces of cut up fruit and yogurts, etc. along with terrible coffee). The new management completely took out all of the Nantucket charm, and instead, the inside looks like a Serena & Lily showroom (in a way that made Serena & Lily look cheap). We happened to get a great deal because we went very off season, but I could not recommend this place for in-season pricing.
