I loved the close proximity to everything. We could walk everywhere.

The third bedroom with the bunk beds was a little bit small for an adult. It is perfect for children as the room is close to the lounge area and central to the bedrooms.

The location was great for accessing the town of Clarens easily. We enjoyed the proximity to the nature reserve as well, as we could walk from the house to the Conservancy. The house was well equipped and had all we needed for self-catering. We appreciated the welcome drinks and provision of teas and coffees (even though we did not use much). It was great to have a bag of wood supplied for the fireplace. It was also lovely to see the amount of birds that visit the garden. The reading room is a peaceful and warm place in the sun - much needed on a cold winter's day.

The electric blanket needs to be fixed on the one bed. The tap drips in the one bathroom. The garden is a bit dry and sparse in winter. But overall the stay was very good - so these are minor issues that can be fixed.

Best value for money. My kids loved the “fat sak” in the TV room and quiet room. The beds were super comfortable and the house spotless clean.

One Bedroom had no door, so room couldn't warm up entirely, and evening lounge noise (tv, chatting) was heard Showerhead in mainroom could be replaced, lacked pressure and leaking.

Central to all amenities, everything that is required is available, indoor fire place was an absolute bonus for the chilly weather.

Nothing to complain about.

Butterfly Villa is absolutely stunning! We visit Clarens once or twice every year and always try to stay somewhere different. However, we will definitely stay at Butterfly Villa again!
