La Casa Blanca

Clean bathroom, kitchen area had everything necessary for a basic meal. The staff were lovely and welcoming.

The room needs some love but we enjoyed the rustic nature of it.

Staff were friendly enough once I managed to find them, but when I arrived I could not access the hostel. I waited outside for 20 minutes after ringing the bell 3 times. I had no service so I had to go all the way to town with all my bags to access wifi so I could contact the owner who I never met. She told me another lady would let me in. I went back to the hostal (a long walk from town) and again, nobody answered the doorbell. Eventually another guest let me in and I waited in the entrance for a further 10 minutes before any member of staff came to show me where I'd be staying. This experience gave me a really poor impression of the place so I only stayed one night when I'd intended to stay for 2. It was also a very long walk to town which didn't feel safe in the dark. Despite this, the shower was good with hot water and the bed was really comfy. Hopefully the difficult access was just a bad day for them and isn't a regular thing.

Located away from the city center crowd, but still close enough. Very clean and comfortable, the owner is super nice.
