W Aspen

The location was ideal, the views from the roof deck were incredible and food was great. The proximity to the supermarket was really convenient as was the shuttle service to and from the airport. But most of all, the service was amazing. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful and upbeat. Many members of the staff remembered our names and our preferences after a first encounter. We had had a very tough travel experience getting to Aspen (no fault of the hotel) and the woman who checked us in arranged a welcome basket to make us feel better. The concierge had great recommendations and Diego (the customer experience manager) took pride in his ability to secure restaurant reservations anywhere in Aspen. We look forward to going back.

It is unfortunate that the roof deck pool is open to non guests. We saw a number of folks take advantage of the hotel’s open policy which made it tough to get a lounge chair at times and also overwhelmed the staff. We saw someone come in (not a hotel guest) announce to the two people manning the roof that he had forty people coming in for drinks and that he was “taking over” the roof. The staff couldn’t do anything about this because of the hotel’s policy. The staff did the best they could (and went out of their way to set aside chairs for us) but the policy needs to change.

Everything was great including Location. Concierge Daniel was extremely helpful in recommending Restaurants and making Reservations! Rooftop Pool/Bar is the Best in town and highly recommend

The customer service was amazing at the W everyone from the valet to check in to housekeeping to room service. Will always stay here the room was cool and beautiful! 10/10

A lot of service issues. People were nice but we didn’t have hot water in our room for 2 days. Took an hour to get a piece of toast from room service.
