"Really lovely owner, had a great stay"

The view of the train from our room was beautiful, it was so quiet and peaceful, we loved our 2 night stay. The owner Dave was so friendly and welcoming, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Ella.

"A magical quiet little place in Paradise not far from town"

Everything was excellent. The breakfast in the mornings were delicious combined with the perfect View. The room was exceptional, including the best shower we have had in Sri Lanka We highly recommend.

"This hotel really sets a new standard in Ella."

Dave is a most gracious host and a man who not only loves Sri Lanka but his work too. He does everything he can to make sure you enjoy your stay and is miles ahead of most places in Ella. You'll find him in the kitchen for breakfast every day, cooking up things you like and making you experience Sri Lanka the way you should. I'd lie if I'd say it wasn't a breath of fresh air to be able to speak English with someone again. That's a huge plus. The view is amazing too. You feel like you're looking at a life sized painting while eating breakfast. Definitely recommended.

"Great place for those that want to enjoy the scenic views of Ella while escaping the city buzz"

Great host was very friendly and helped us with transportation; place is brand new and very clean; perfect location for those that want to do some scenic hikes or catch a ride on the train; best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka (homemade and authentic)

Not the easiest location to reach from Ella downtown especially at night so make sure you hire a car (owner will be happy to recommend a few); also no AC but it wasn’t hot anyway as it’s a bit cooler in the area;

Nice people, montain view close to the small train station.

Room and restaurant hotel very basic bad contruction and noise. 1 star hotel for very high price.

"Superb"

Lovely host. Amazing and unique view of train. Very comfortable and beautiful 4 poster bed. Despite being by the train station the last train was 9.30pm and first was 6.45am. So didn’t disrupt sleep too much and was happy to bound out of bed to watch the trains.
