Residences De Chartres

Nous n'avons pas eu l'info pour passer chercher la clé à l'hotel des poêtes. Nous avons appris en prenant la clé que nous étions logés à un autre endroit. L'installation électrique du logement était partiellement en défaut : plusieurs interrupteurs ne fonctionnaient pas (dont celui situé à la porte d'entrée), ainsi qu'une prise électrique. On aurait apprécié qu'il y ait de quoi se faire un café ou un thé avec la bouilloire.

Great location. Minutes from the cathedral and right on the route to see the illuminations. Apartment was reasonably priced given the town centre location. Furnishings were present, it had what we needed for a night or two.

We had to pick up the key from the other side of town. The apartment is very, very tired. In both bathrooms the shower head wasn't held to the wall. Some of the furniture was scuffed and broken. The handles on cupboard doors spin around. There are windows without curtains. There is a random staircase to a roof light that partially blocks one of the bedroom doors. It looks and feels more like staff accommodation, or a place that students might doss down for the night. It certainly isn't a top-quality apartment. I would say it is "cheap and cheerful" but it lacks the cheer.

Excellent location. The apartment was clean. Really suited our needs. Comfortable beds. The staff at the hotel (where we collected and dropped off the keys) were really helpful and friendly.

There are bathrooms for the 2 bedrooms but no separate toilet for guests sleeping downstairs. This meant they had to come into one of the bedrooms if they needed to use the toilet. This wasn't a major issue for us as it was all family but would have been beneficial to have a separate toilet.

We were put in a different place than the one we booked.

je ,'ai pas été prévenu qu'il fallait récupérer la clef de l'appartement a L'hôtel qui se trouvait a 1,1km en haut de Chartres ( chargé avec mes bagages) puis on m'a donné la mauvaise clef ce qui m'a valu de refaire 1 km de marche chargé . LA chambre de de volets ( obligé de mettre des serviettes, très vétuste mais propre et en centre ville.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. After he had gone we found one of the showers could nit be used as a shoer as the holder for the shower was missing. One of the sockets where the standard lamp wasnt working, neither was the kettle. We had to boil the water in the microwave. The other standard lamp was leaning and fell over when you tried to move it nearer to you. A blind was missing. The cups were all chipped. The only good thing was the beds were comfotable and the room was warm.
