The view from the terrace was amazing! It truly looks like paradise and is the perfect location to just relax. The food is delicious and we can‘t thank the staff enough for their great service & hospitality! They were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and assisted us whenever they could. Wifi worked really well, there‘s direct access to the beach which is also nice.

The price is too expensive for what you get. For the price we paid I‘d expect there to be more than just a bed in the room. There‘s no reading lights, no decoration, no nothing. The outside bathroom is nice but lacks practicality, there‘s no space to hang your toiletries or put the washing stuff. The price for their shuttle service from Ponta d‘Ouro to the Resort is insanity - €56 for 2 ways (1 way = 4,6 km, just for reference we took private taxi from Maputo to Ponta d‘Ouro which cost us 30€ for 121km), so that‘s far too expensive plain and simple. These are all small things but what made us rate this place so low is that the owner grossly mistreats his wonderful staff - we stayed there 2 nights and witnessed a couple of incidents where he openly yelled at his workers, diminished their work and generally behaved in a way that is completely unacceptable. As much as we loved the location and enjoyed our stay, that is not a place where we want to bring our money to, given that the people who made it such a nice time are not appreciated in the slightest. We don‘t want to imagine how he treats the staff when there‘s no guests around since he didn‘t shy away from yelling at them when people were present. It‘s an absolute no-no for us!

The location and the beach are amazing. The view from the sea view tent is beyond compare and we ended up extending our stay to enjoy the surroundings for a while longer. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great although a bit pricey.

With a few tweaks in housekeeping and cleanliness of the room/tent amenities and service, the place would be perfect.
