A bit dated.

Great location. The facility is a bit dated but it’s clean and customer service is fantastic. Fantastic deal for the price. The hotel restaurant is amazing too.

The Roosevelt is located in San Isidro, in a neighborhood filled with cafes, restaurants and bookstores. It’s a really good location. My single-person room was small. It was plainly decorated but very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t want the heavy quilt on it, but there was a wrapped single blanket in the closet that served my needs. There was adequate storage space in the closet. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. The shower was a somewhat small stall, but the hot water was ample, and the temperature was well maintained. Breakfast was included at the attached restaurant. (pet-friendly by the way) Breakfast choices included eggs, oatmeal, fruit, or delicious French toast. The staff at this hotel is very service oriented. They are competent, friendly, and helpful with any question. Two minor issues in my room were taken care of almost immediately. I had some trouble making the reservation on their website, but found it easy to reserve by directly e-mailing the hotel. Because I stayed more than 3 nights, airport pickup was included (but not the return). This is by no means a luxury hotel. But if you’re looking for a comfortable room that is very clean, with a helpful and friendly staff, at a reasonable price, in a great location, this is your place.

Very nice hotel for out business stay, we got in contact with the hotel before hand to get some help for the Covid tests we needed for our return and they extremely helpful helping us get all of that set up.

Smiles and a great service from the moment we emailed and then walked into the hotel nice staff (all of them), just what we needed after two weeks in isolation because of Covid-19, and a return to Lima for repatriation to Canada! Nice room, very comfortable bed, internet a bit slow at times but very adequate, all the amenities we needed, in a very nice neighborhood we unfortunately could not explore because of the curfew. We will go back to explore SAN Isidro further. Muchissimas gracias de Canada!

During the virus pandemic I was lucky enough to have to stay here waiting for my airplane back to Canada. Everything was clean and cozy. Meals delivered to the room were adequate. Considering the restaurant was closed Breakfast and supper we’re always on time.
