The main building where you check in is lovely. The motel out back is just an add-on motel. But it’s cheap, quiet, clean, comfortable. The breakfast in the inn’s bakery (included in the cheap room price) was delicious.

I think the reviews of the motel and main inn should be separated as it’s not obvious when you book that the motel is just an add-on building with none of the old charm. But the motel is fine and the price was good!

I was there for my grandson's wedding. The weather was rainy, so I appreciated that the festivities and accommodations were under the same roof. So convenient! Also, the front desk clerk, Michelle, was so helpful and pleasant.

As a Senior, I was extra cautious walking on the floors and stairs. I understand that uneven floors are part of the quaintness of colonial buildings, so I'm not complaining. Goes with the territory.
