Island Girl Bed and Breakfast

I had a private room even though i paid the dorm price for most of the stay. It was acceptable given the price. Good breakfast. Basic facilities.

Lost a microfiber towel that seems to have disappeared from the room while i was out, however other than this the stay was okay given the price. Of course it will cost money to replace this lightweight towel later on.

It had a bed to get (some) sleep in and the toilet works and it is pretty clean overall although we did get a big spider and a millipede in the room.

The actual room we stayed in was in a shack right on the road which was not only incredibly noisy but also didn’t feel the safest. The beds are very wobbly especially if you’re on the top bunk and the shower has almost no pressure so I didn’t even attempt to wash my hair. The common area is pretty tiny. The breakfast was fine but not that many options and also a good ten minute walk away from the room.

Location is convenient. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean. Breakfast included.

The private rooms are in a separate building (we didn’t know this until we arrived) and seem to get forgotten about. We didn’t have towels or toilet paper and had to go and ask at reception for them (couldn’t get towels until the next day so they gave us a bed sheet instead?!). The water cooler outside the room ran out, someone came and took to empty one but it didn’t get replaced. We had to ask for it to get changed twice. The room itself felt quite neglected. The gaps between the aircon and the walls were stuffed with toilet paper which meant mosquitoes and other insects were always in the room. The toilet also never flushed on the first attempt (despite us always making sure to not flush paper down it) so could be quite unpleasant at time. The door handle itself felt like it was almost about to fall off so didn’t feel the most secure.
