Very friendly and helpful hostel owner, free pick up at van stop, delicious food (vegetarian option) cooked by the hostel owner, reasonably priced tours, small but clean room with mountain view, clean shared toilet and bathroom, water pressure of hot water shower was ok, 10 minutes walk downhill to the market

Internet sometimes very slow

We only stayed for a few hours because we got delayed enroute to Banaue. The host was very kind to allow us to stay longer to catch up on our sleep since we arrived very early in the morning already.

The road along the hostel was being repaired on that Sunday morning causing a lot of noise. But of course, it wasn't the hosts' fault.

I liked everything about Banaue Evergreen Hostel and Restaurant. Joan, Margiovani and Kia are the best people that I meet during my trip. They take care of me and organize all the activities. The room is so clean and we can see the valley every day. At this moment, there is a lot of roadwork, but I was able to sleep, no noise in the morning and evening. And plus, Joan cooked delicious food. Thank you so much.

The staff were lovely, and very helpful. Check-in was easy and quick. The dinner and breakfast were very nice.

The location, right on the main street meant it was noisy till late at night. A room on the back would have been quieter, but those were without private bathroom.

Our recent family holiday at BANAUE EVERGREEN HOSTEL surpassed all expectations, thanks to the exceptional hospitality and support provided by the owner and staff. What began as 3-day stay turned into an unforeseen 8-day retreat, and throughout it all, the owners and their team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and attentiveness. Mariano was incredibly helpful, offering valuable insights into local attractions and arranging trips around Banaue and Batad. When unexpected health complications extended our stay to 8 days, they arranged our transportation to Manila. We realy appreciate the personalized attention we received from them. Despite the challenges we faced, everything was solved, thanks the support and assistance of the Joan, Mariano and their lovely family. Thank you!

During our stay, the road was being repaired, which was sometimes very noisy. But that is something the owner cannot influence.

The place is very close to the bus stop and a 10-15min walk from the center. We arrived very early but got a warm drink while watching the sunset on the balcony overlooking the mountain. And breakfast quite quickly afterwards ! The room was spacious and the facilities just what you need (extra points for the warm water). The food was amazing (especially the green curry) ! The staff was nice and helpful !

The staff was helpful in giving us recommendations for our hiking trip. But we don’t recommend to book the visits’ hike and trips with the hostel. We ended up going to the tourist information and get a better price.
