Schindler "Bed & Food Experience"

Loved the breakfast, great location, easy parking. No complaints at all, it was a great stay!

The experience at Hotel Schindler was anything but pleasant. One staff member we encountered upon arrival was rude, angry, and scolded us for wanting to store our luggage outside of check-in hours. He was completely unprofessional and made us feel extremely unwelcome. He even yelled “Go away!” in German after us. The entire experience was unenjoyable and made us feel like we had done something wrong, even though we had a written confirmation from another staff member that we could leave our bag while we were out skiing. The other hotel staff were friendlier, especially the cleaning lady who proactively tried to solve the conflict (but also ended up getting yelled at). However, the other staff did not try to compensate us whatsoever, so we had to go up at 6 in the morning the following day to get a luggage locker at the train station. The lack of hospitality and customer service was appalling and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Schindler. The very comfortable, well-appointed, spotlessly clean room was perfect with a balcony and views down the valley and over St Anton. There was plenty of storage space and the wardrobe had more hangers than we have ever seen anywhere else. The bathroom was beautifully laid out with quality towels and loads of hot water. Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide choice of cheeses, cold meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and muesli. Eggs prepared any way were also offered as well as refills of tea and coffee. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We'll be back.
