Menzel Ubud

Beautiful and perfect

The main area of the hotel where the Pool and restaurant are located are really nice. Staff was always supportive and very kind. Food was very good.

We had a villa and could strongly hear our neighbours. We lost money and strongly recommend to use the safety box. When the incident was reported, they took it very serious.

The staff was very nice, always there to help. The house is big with a Beautiful bathroom, but it need more lights. I found it a bit dark but beside that it was very beautiful. The rice field inside the hotel was mesmerizing especially the morning when you open the curtain. I recommend Menzel Villa

L'accueil est bon et le personnel très serviable. Les explications sont claires. La chambre est jolie. Le restaurant est très bon.

Le manque de luminosité dans la chambre, il nous a fallu utiliser quelques fois la lampe torche et on a remarqué quelques détails de propreté qui laissaient a désirer (tâches sur le sol, miroir sale). Dommage que les rizières aient été récoltées nous ne voyons que de la boue et pas le jolie visuel des photos sur le site.

The aesthetic of the hotel was great. Like the photos it has the right blend of jungle and rice fields with a nice infinity pool. The staff were lovely and helpful and the floating breakfast was a nice option.

The hotel rooms were large but basic, often with bugs inside. They seemed dated and could do with modernization. The location was a bit too far out of the main part of Ubud. They also charged us quite highly for one small broken glass. Whilst the room had AC, you could never feel it whilst in bed.
