They cancelled on me at the very last minute. When I arrived at the location, they gave me a thousand excuses—claiming they hadn't cleaned the room assigned to me—but no hotel actually operates that way; they simply sold my reservation to someone else. I had to drive six hours for this, and they didn't offer me any solution whatsoever. The refund is supposed to be available in 7 to 12 days. I am deeply disappointed.

The room is maintained well from the inside. The staff do their best to help you.

The surroundings are quite downcast. Though I am informed it is better than before.

Lived up to all our expectations, a hotel with history, an oasis in the middle of San Francisco. We only had two days in the city and managed to get an early check in which made a massive difference to our trip. The hotel has a brilliant heated pool, the rooms have real character and despite being warned about the Tenderloin, we found no issues at all. Finally, every member of staff we interacted with were super friendly with shout outs going to Robert and Orlando. It’s without question that we will be back and I cannot think of anywhere else I’d want to stay in SF

Feels safe inside the property. Heated pool. Friendly stuff. Red light rooms.

Everything in the room is pretty old and tiny. Outside the hotel is very uncomfortable society with many strangers.

Very cute quirky atmosphere. Employees were very protective of the paid parking lot which helped keep out riff raff. Mostly very helpful front desk staff.
