The location was beautiful.....the rooms were very comfortable...and a very nice new staff member who made us breakfast

They just need to figure out the payment options....Booking.com said they did not accept cash but then charged 10% to use a credit card...mother Owner did acknowledge this and I waived the 10% in this case and would figure this out with Booking.com

We were left high and dry by Booking.com who completely messed up our apartment booking for 8 people for a week. Managed to secure 4 rooms here for the week at the last moment…. and the garden is nice, it’s a quiet restful place, and the rooms would be fine if they were cleaned

unfortunately the negatives outweighed any positives. Breakfast:-On the first day was woeful, virtully non existent, but perhaps excusable as they weren't expecting us until the night before. Day 2 not much better. Day 3 a little better. Day 4 we were all going to a wedding so said we’d prepare our own in the kitchen area. Days 5 and 6 – no one showed up to make breakfast at all. We didn’t stay the full week and left after 6 days. Room Cleaning:-– didn’t happen until we raised it – 3 of the 4 rooms cleaned on day 3, the other room wasn't cleaned at all. No other cleaning whatsoever was done Hygiene:- Other than the day above none of the rubbish was emptied – this includes the toilet paper bins (In Ecuador you put this in a bin, not down the loo). No attempt to remove other rubbish too. That collected on the one day it was cleaned was left in bin bags, later damaged by some animal and left spilled. Towels were never replaced. Service:- Occasionally one member of staff was seen on site but basically we had to look after ourselves. Summary:- For Ecuador its reasonably expensive so you’d expect a decent level of service. It would be a nice place if this was so – would we stay again, absolutely NOT

well- maintained, very clean

not entirely accessible to restaurants and shopping if you don’t have a car but taxis and Uber are available

Owner went out of his way to take care of us. Dried a pair of pants for my wife, drove us to the airport on the morning of our departure (very early). Excellent breakfast!

Need a car from this location as there are no restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was so quiet! The court yard is beautiful with a wonderful outdoor dining area. Maria Jose made us an amazing breakfast both mornings we were there. complete with coffee, fresh bread, fresh fruit, fresh juice and eggs. Beds were so comfortable!
