Sandalwood Beach Resort

It's old but ocean front, great location with big room, good price! However Shower tub needs to scrub, was oily and dirty. Plus shower pressure was awful!! Other than that, if you want to save money, I would recommend.

Parking is minimal, very outdated motel as I would not even call this a resort, cleanliness in rooms needs a better service as the shower was disgusting with mold, dust and dingy tiles. Did not shower without shoes or laying towel on floor. AC in room was fantastic which is surprising because there was a 1 inch gap on top and bottom of front door. Deadbolt was a slide lock that would not even line up to actually secure but might have been because 2 of 4 screws were missing. Best thing was it’s actually beachfront but would have paid more to stay at Hilton next door if I had known how rundown the facility was. Luckily was only staying 2 nights to see friends who were staying close and could not get a room where they were. Ended up leaving early because we could not see us having to use that shower again that 2nd night.

The only good thing was the location, right in front of the beach. Even though the room was clean, and the AC worked really well, elevator smelled super unpleasant, the bathtub drain was clogged, and everything in the bathroom was way too old, and the room smelled old in general.

Love this place been there several times

We had no service to the room through our week stay. Would have been nice to at least get the floor spot from the sand.
