Moxy Boston Downtown

I have been a Bonvoy rewards member since 2018 and this was definitely a top 3 experience for me. Alyssa at the front desk set the tone for my entire stay at checkin, present, polite, engaging, and made some great recommendations for my first time in Boston. The bar is directly across, on the same floor and again the bartenders were a whole vibe, music was great, drinks were strong and the food was way better than normal “hotel” food! I’ve worked for Marriott and I am still in Hospitality Management so when I say the staff nailed it, they truly delivered on the hospitality promise one should expect from any Marriott property. This was my first time staying at a Moxy hotel and it will be the only property I stay at when I’m in Boston.

Very good location, comfortable room - even if small.

A design-over-common-sense approach. I understand the lack of a coffee machine and mini fridge - they’re not always included - but the only table was a very small, wobbly foldable one. There was also no shelf, just hooks on the wall instead.

Convenient location, pretty view from our room, we enjoyed the bar/lounge area. You are a ten minute walk to lots of fun destinations.

It’s a bit noisy but it wasn’t a problem.

My intentions of staying at moxy hotel over the weekend was to have some time to myself and of course, sleep. My stay was amazing with no issues. Bar opens at 10 and ends I think at the same time with two Moxy signature coupons that can also be redeemed for waters. I will definitely be back soon!

It was close to the theater for the show we were going to. Short walk to many places to see

I was asked for my credit card and we already pre paid. She ran my credit card again for the full amount and a $75 hold. The front desk should communicate with the customers instead of just assuming because it was not in there system. So our stay sucked because the money did not go back to my account till Monday and we were there on Thursday and did not have any other money. All they gave us was a $35 credit for the restaurant.
