La Dimora Di Segesta

We arrived at the B&B, La Dimora Di Segesta, after having to make a last minute booking because we were left without a place to stay due to the B&B booked months ago was closed. Roberto was so helpful and soon arrived at the B&B after we called him to tell him the situation we were in. After using his WiFi to sort out the bookings he showed us the room, which was very clean, tidy and in excellent condition. He then showed us all the places of interest in the town and surrounding areas with maps and information booklets he had available. We had been driving for many hours and we were both quite hungry. His recommended restaurant was spot on. We had the local, typically Sicilian, dish of pasta and a carafe of the local vino rosso! Perfect. Roberto was a kind and generous person and we chatted more with him over a typical Sicilian breakfast of omelette, bread, local cheeses, ham with olives prepared from the trees on his own land. We enjoyed the room and his company very much, it was a real pleasure.

Roberto met us at a car park and we followed him to the house to avoid the road works. There was a choice of delicious home made and home grown products at breakfast. Roberto kept us informed of the opening hours of the temple affected by the wildfires.

Very clean modern room and wonderful kind people who checked us in and served a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

Roberto the owner met us in the town car park and led us to a parking spot at front of the accommodation. He was very helpful and concerned we were OK and settling in. He prepared a breakfast which was good as well. Breakfast was in his basement kitchen area.

All Sicilian villages have tight one way lane systems so it can be a bit wearing.

La Dimora est bien pratique pour découvrir la région de Segesta et Calatafimi même. La chambre sans être grande, dispose de toutes le commodités. Les petits-déjeuners sont corrects mais pas assez caractéristiques.
