Alley X Tainan

A gorgeous homestay hidden in a quite alley in a central location. The room was beautifully decorared and presented and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the delicious and varied traditional taiwanese breakfasts each day. We also loved the garden setting and appreciated the helpfulness of the host.

Nous avons adoré la décoration de la chambre et son espace. Une très grande chambre avec un petit coin salon, les dépendances ( cours intérieures). Un havre de paix en plein coeur de ville. Entendre les oiseaux chanter le matin c'était magique. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Nous remercions chaleureusement le personnel qui nous a aidé dans toutes nos démarches et nous a facilité le séjour. Très bel endroit que nous recommandons chaudement.

This B&B style accommodation is very well located and very quiet considering the busy area it is situated in. Our larger room was clean and reasonably comfortable in comparison to our fellow travellers room which was a thin 'futon' style mattress on timber slats in a much smaller room. There was a 'traditional' feel to this accommodation and they even went to the effort to organise a Taiwanese breakfast for us. A quaint little free range garden space is provided to relax and escape the busyness. I did book this property based on reviews/images and not price which we paid in cash on arrival as requested.

PLEASE NOTE: To be fair, please keep in mind hat we are more 'hotel' people when reading my comments. This property could be so much more with a little maintenance (gardens) and minor comfort additions (mattresses). Whilst not an issue for some, we found the several levels of stairs, the mosquitoes, the comfortability and property housekeeping requests not to our usual holiday stay standard, however, it might be suitable to others. I just think an awareness of these things need to be shared as it was reason enough for us to cut short our stay.
