Downtown Apartment Bratislava

Amazing location in the heart of the old town. Very fun, unusual apartment with lots of communal space.

As I'm sure is common in these old buildings, there was no air conditioning - also no fans. Able to get a good breeze in the upstairs bedrooms but only with the windows wide open - which is very loud because of the great central location.

Spacious and comfortable and really enjoyed exploring all the different spaces and views from the windows and terraces 🥰

being on the top floor with no lift but it is an old building and the views when you get there are certainly worth it

Incredible apartment with the best location possible. Lots of room. Great for a large group. Fun decorations.

The sensor lights in the living room were a little annoying as they stayed on too long when no one was there. But that little issue was not a big deal.

İt was a nice apartment, we (5 student in their 20s) had a lot of fun in the apartment. İt was spacious and the location was great

Great location!! Better is impossible 3 floors up until the apt, no lift but no problem. Interesting decoration. Plenty of room, 2 toilets downstairs and other 2 upstairs. Cosy terraces.

Location, location, location: right next to the market square. The interior is very individual and aesthetic. Water kettle, fridge, washing machine, wifi, all you need. Access is easy. Nice views.

You get the warning from the landlord: lots of stairs to the top floor, but worthwhile.

The location of the appartment couldn't be better situated as it was in the heart of the old town with easy access to many places of interest and within short walking distance of local transport services.

The only reservation my companions and I had was the number of stairs (75) between the appartment and street level. I accept that for many people this would be inconsequential but for anyone with reduced mobility it becomes a major consideration.

Our host was very responsive and helpful. Wonderful location in the heart of Old Town. Good wifi. We appreciated the two separate toilets - with three females in our group. This apartment offers a washing machine which is handy when you've been on the road for a while. The Christmas markets were literally at our front door. The apartment was quiet despite the very central location.

The apartment is on the fourth floor - literally 100 steps to the main bedroom. No lift option for our luggage. We couldn't find parking for our minibus - the parking garage is not too far, just too low (1,95m). Parking is a challenge in the Old Town. The kitchen is poorly equipped and needs at least a microwave oven. The mattresses in all the rooms are way past their replacement date.

Where do start………….let’s start with the positives, it’s probably the best location you’ll find in Bratislava, second positive the central heating is very good, but that’s where it ends………the bad parts……..from opening the main door from the street you’ve another metal gate to open to enter the stairs (all 75 of them) no mention of that on the website, second issue is cleanliness, everything that has (an under) I.e couch, cupboards etc wasn’t clean, even a cig butt left in the downstairs toilet, the living room couch was knackered and crummy, the kitchen is so dated it’s virtually un-usable, all the pans and cups/glasses had to be scrubbed before we could use them, the kettle was filled with limescale so we had to buy a solution to remove it, but that didn’t work so we ended up using a pan. All the cupboards had remnants of previous tenants Ie deodorants etc……..in the bedrooms there are virtually no wardrobes, and to cap it all my daughter was completely freaked out with the multitude of bizarre wall arts……….not a very good experience and certainly won’t be returning.
